Dr. Joanna Anneke Rummens joins our BMRC-IMRU project team as Strategic Lead – Implementation and Knowledge Transfer.
Anneke is an internationally recognized expert in identity|diversity issues, migrant health and wellbeing, and knowledge transfer governance. Her career experience spans the social and medical|health sciences, bridges academe, community, business and government, andlinks the immigration, health, and education sectors. She is former director and/or founder of three major research & knowledge exchange centres/institutes, has led several large interdisciplinary, inter-professional, cross-sectoral collaborations as integral part of her own programme of policy-practice relevant research & knowledge transfer on Multiple Diversities and Life Outcomes, and regularly serves as expert consultant to various initiatives, organizations and governments at the local, provincial, national and international level.
Anneke brings to our BMRC-IMRU partnership extensive experience in project implementation, integrated research & knowledge transfer, networked KTE mobilization partnerships, and knowledge uptake-implementation to inform decision making and impact actual outcomes.
