Camila Bonifaz

Camila Bonifaz is a Financial Assistant working with Research
Accounting, Payroll, Office of Research Services, and the teams of the Building Migrant Resilience in Cities (BMRC) partnership to support the timely and effective financial administration of the project.

In addition to working for BMRC, Camila is the Program Coordinator of York University's Centre for Research on Latin America and the Caribbean (CERLAC), Canada's oldest and largest LAC research centre.
Camila also plays a key role in operations at the Canadian Association for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CALACS), where she manages the planning and coordination of CALACS' annual Congress. Camila came to York with an array of experiences in coordinating program, project, and grant operations, including at TechSoup Canada and the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), both Toronto-based social enterprises. She also worked as Program Coordinator for the Climate Program and theInformation Program at the World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization in Washington, DC.

Camila holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from
Georgetown University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from
the University of Toronto.
