In collaboration with the Canadian Immigrant, Prof. Zikic, Prof. Reitz and one York U PhD student, Mrs. Voloshyna are exploring biographies of 200 Immigrant Award Winners and currently starting to examine their career narratives further through in depth interviews.
Their goal is to understand how individuals talk about their coping and resilience related to settling into lives and careers in Canada and seek to obtain a more systemic view of resilience stemming from the individuals as well as various society and community at large.
